Story beats: After the group needs shelter and Soren gets injured, Kasumi attempts to step up and be a leader to the chaotic group. This involves Kas trying to quit her drinking problem that has plagued the last 7 years of her life. It’s a difficult challenge to beat but Kasumi uses every strategy she can think of. Soren one time catches her washing the already clean dishes just to distract herself from the pain. April grew up in a toxic and abusive household which resulted in her often staying with Asher for long periods of time. This home life is something she doesn’t like to talk about, often brushing it off and changing the subject with a quirky remark.
